Beginning in photography and darkroom work in the early pre-teen years,
Ray Has developed a good visual eye in the outside natural studio of night and day.
His first teachers were a father and son combo, Jeep and Furman Wilson.
The Wilsons had a home darkroom and introduced black and white developing and camera
techniques to Ray.
Clemmer is an artist who enjoys combining old and new technologies in pursuit of his unique visual
expression. He is an 'old school' film photographer, as well as a digital artist, and often combines
the two talents. The result is dramatic computer enhanced photography.
Ray hails from Kings Mountain, North Carolina. He is a member of the Southern Arts Society
there and enjoys giving back to his community with many hours of volunteer work.
